There will most likely be very little dirt. Also most likely no rain.

Good morning to all rally fans and greetings from Germany! My name is Uwe. I used to drive in many rallies and races myself. Now I mainly watch the Benelux region and Germany. I`ve attended 100 events on Gran Canaria since the ROC. That`s why I`m so excited about the World Championship on the island! At the ERC, I greeted the competitors in the stands with German flags!

I expected more participants. Like at the ERC, will there be regional Spanish starters after the World Championship? Does anyone know how many German teams are competing? I know of Göttig, Göttig, Schwarz.
Unfortunately my hip is damaged, so I can only walk with crutches. That will be very difficult in the mountains. The buses aren`t suitable for me. Hopefully, with my disability card, I can take a quick trip to the service area to see the German teams?
First of all, I wish you lots of fun at the Sierra Morena Rally!

"Totally different landscape than the previous stages: this one shows how the south of Gran Canaria looks like. With higher chance of good weather and longs views of the road from almost everywhere due to the lack of trees, this stage was one of my favourites together with the first half of 9/12 near Tejeda. I really enjoy roads winding around rugged mountains - that's why I didn't cut the nice part of the road even after the finish line at 16:14. Most popular spectator spot will be the hairpins after 8:43 as there you can easily access the stage from the left"

As far as I know, stage "Moya-Gáldar" will have an area for people with disabilities.

    Regards.

Hello, I am from the island of Gran Canaria.
I would recommend you to go to the Spectator Area 5 and 6 of SS ‘Valleseco-Artenara’.
First, you have to get to Moya, and then go towards Fontanales. And finally you have to go in the direction of ‘Pinos de Gáldar’ (Artenara-Tejeda).

For Saturday, I would recommend you to go to the "Moya-Gáldar".The beginning of this special stage is in the centre of the village of Moya.

SS15 / SS18 Maspalomas (Gran Canaria) recorded by GHrallyemotion (POV)

"The powerstage of the rally is also a really fast one! Less tight corners and therefore way higher average speed to expect than at all the other stages plus a beautiful view to the sea and Maspalomas in the end. Driving this road in normal traffic was not as enjoyable as I thought because there was a lot of traffic when we were there.
The viewpoint at 9:35 Mirador Astronómico de la Degollada de las Yeguas would be a great spot for spectators, however it won't be easy to get there. I guess most spectators will be at the last section with the 3 downhill hairpins, as you can walk up there from Maspalomas"

Thanks for the greetings and the tips! I`ll try to drive, not take the bus. Yes, SS15/18 looks very fast! Despite the harpin bends, I`m guessing an average speed in the region of 130 km/h! Unfortunately, it`s barely possible to see here either. Now the wait for the starting list is entering its final phase...
