Are you sure it’s TokSport? I heard another team.

    Are TokSport even doing Monte?

There is also Greensmith. Not confirmed, but must be Toksport.

Apparently, Gryazin will start in Monte for some Italian team. Most likely, Delta, with which he rode in Monza. It seems that so far he does not have any agreements for the season.

The precocity and immediacy in moving up the ladder are still an asset in today's rallying reality, another example of which is young Giovanni Trentin's bid for the 2025 season.

The 17-year-old Italian driver will make his World Rally Championship debut this year with a total of six events in the WRC2 category in a Skoda Fabia RS Rally2 for the Italian Delta Rally team, with experienced Italian navigator Alessandro Franco on the right-hand side.

Trentin will start his World Championship campaign in the WRC2 category at Rally Islas Canarias (Gran Canaria) on the last weekend of April. This will not only be his debut in a World Championship event, but also the first time he will drive a Rally2 car in an international event, a type of car he has only driven twice in two rallyshows. In his only two full seasons so far, 2023 and 2024, the young Italian driver has only accumulated kilometres and experience in national competitions aboard a Rally4 car. In his debut season, he did manage to win the junior championship in the Latvian National Rally Championship, demonstrating his ability on the fast gravel tracks. In 2023, he visited other Baltic countries such as Estonia and Lithuania.
    Too early too big step...

If it's not Toksport then who are they running in all their cars this year, or are they quitting rallying to concentrate on racing ?

Heikkilä moves up to WRC2 in 2025

Finnish rally driver Mikko Heikkilä makes a move to the highly competitive WRC2 category for the 2025 season. The former ERC regular is set for a full six-round program with Finnish TGS Motorsport and Skoda Fabia RS Rally2.

Finnish rally driver Mikko Heikkilä has unveiled his program for the 2025 season. The returning Skoda driver is set for a full six round season in the highly competitive WRC2 category. Heikkilä begins his season from Rally Sweden in February, and the rest of the program consists of the gravel events across Europe.

-Our end goal was always WRC, and it’s coming to fruition now. After the Finnish championship in 2022 we planned for two seasons in the ERC, and a graduation for WRC in 2025. We’ve contested WRC events every year, with Sweden, Latvia, and Finland last year, but now we’re here to calculate points too. We’ve been hard at work the whole off-season thus far, and we’re extremely happy to compete at the highest level of Rally2, Heikkilä rejoiced.

Heikkilä will be competing with the Finnish TGS Motorsport, a team familiar to Heikkilä led by a former WRC factory driver Toni Gardemeister. Taking on the co-driver duties in the Skoda Fabia RS Rally2 is fellow Finn Kristian Temonen.

-Returning to TGS is like returning home, and I’m happy to be competing with Toni. Our past includes three full seasons in the Finnish national championship culminating in gold in 2022, and last year we competed in two rallies with Toni including WRC Sweden. Kristian has proven to be the right man for the spot. Changing back to Skoda was a combination of multiple factors, and Fabia RS has been proven to be fast and reliable in all conditions, Heikkilä explained.

TGS Motorsport CEO Toni Gardemeister is delighted about Heikkilä’s return to the team.

-I’m happy to have Mikko return to his home team to chase WRC glory. Mikko has the “sisu” needed for WRC, and he knows how to gather the whole team behind him. We’ve achieved a lot together in the past, and we’re ready for more, Gardemeister said.
Heikkilä’s goals for 2025 reflect on his competitive outings in Finland and Latvia, in which Heikkilä finished second in WRC2.

-As we saw last year, when everything goes as intended, we can have a race with the factory drivers. Our main objective is to extract all the potential out of myself and the team, and to convert that potential to as good results as possible. A medal at the end of the season would be a cherry on top, Heikkilä promised.

    Mikko Heikkilä's WRC2 program for 2025
    1. Rally Sweden 13.-16.2.
    2. Vodafone Rally de Portugal 15.-18.5.
    3. Rally Italia Sardegna 5.-8.6.
    4. EKO Akropolis Rally Greece 26.-29.6.
    5. Delfi Rally Estonia 17.-20.7.
    6. Secto Rally Finland 31.7.-3.8.

    Lauri Joona

Let me introduce our livery for the season 2025! I am really excited to announce that we will be running a full WRC2 season this year!
Together with the team Munaretto Sport and Co-Driver Samu Vaaleri we are ready to give our maximum this season, it's going to be big one for sure!

Our WRC2 campaign starts Rally Sweden but before that we will join Arctic Lapland Rally in Rovaniemi area to ensure proper taste of snowy stages

What are your thoughts about the livery? In my opinion She looks stunning

Great news for Heikkilä, he deserves it after some good showings in the ERC.
