Maybe at the end Adrien is still having conversations with current employer and just maybe he didn't sign anything yet. Then Hyundai will not having other options than having Mikkelsen onboard. If they are looking at someone to tame on tarmac events, where problem really lies, they should go for Gryazin, as he was excellent this year on that surface.

Re Gryazin and even Rosell: beeing fast with R2 after many seasons in the same class do not automatically mean fast in R1. However they would build up the confidence over the time, it might take some time.

If we compare him to Munster, that guy literally skips everything, and show ''potential'' in some random stage being 3rd fastest. He isn't even consistent, nor fast. I really don't think, that even if M-Sport would demote him to rally2 programme, that he will do much. Usually they are good with those talents, but here was obviously money from very slow Serderidis, who clearly can't recognize talent either. I looked closely few years back, and out there is so much more talents, Creighton, Virves, Jurgenson, Dominguez Jr., Turkkan, Pellier, Armstrong, Joona... But he picked him, really nothing special.

Serderidis lives and do business in Belgium and Luxembourg so it's more like supporting local talent. I think he is also friend of Munster's father.

Serderidis supported Neuville in his early days, so he surely knows how to spot talent.
But munster never was a talented kid like Neuville, just a rich kid with a father that rents cars.

I feel serderidis just didn't find anyone that seemed better to spend his money on.

He could do it the right way, and fund his career step by step, first proper JWRC, some national championship (french, italian, british), then WRC2 and so on. When I watched more tna machine series, he is constantly bringing up pressure, and how he failed and let everyone down... This will mentaly destroy him and he will not be better.

I'm surprised no one posted this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OE3Dj7adldA
Wish we'll have more videos like this, and can someone please give Paddon a seat?!?!
This, this right here, is what the promoter should've been doing, that's how you promote rally. Glad Hyundai picked up the glove, I just hope it's at the end of their road.
Only you know your true potential.

the recent suggestiong 2027 cars will be on the same rally2 levels AND OPEN to any type of engine is already giving me some liiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiittle hope to see Hyundai having this fella trying to clinch a world title. It could be in a i20 rally2, in a "new gen" 2027 spaceframe car, in HIS OWN ev... whatever, just make space for him. that would be a fan favorite im sure about that.

Nice tribute to Neuville by Bruno Thiry on the official WRC channel on Youtube. I knew they were from the same part of Belgium, didn't know they were from the same small town of Sankt Vith.

Now I hope it will be Evans' turn soon. He now become 4th time runner up.
