Love Monza! Classic high speed track Let's hope for an entertaining race this weekend!

I must say I don't particularly like Monza. It's a traditional circuit and all but I just don't like chicanes.

It would be wonderful if some bright spark could figure out a way to incorporate at least a little of these beautiful relics of motor racing history into the current Monza layout, wouldn't it? I have little idea of the proximity of these bankings in relation to the current track (behind the Parabolica? I can stand correcting on this), and like all my brilliant ideas, probably can't be done.
Dare to dream....

@ ShiftingGears - fecking awesome!
Can you imagine the G's generated by the current cars - particularly on the drivers spine? If ground effect cars were still around the terminal velocity of this track would be other-worldly!
Or maybe limited only by friction?

The Bulls (Vettlel) look mighty after FP2. It's still early on but it doesn't bode well for the rest of the field.
Go every one else!! :May the forza be with you
