Perez is out. Now we wait to see who replaces him - Yuki or Liam

Horner said they ran Yuki with RB so the engineering team could assess him. They had already worked extensively with Liam.

    It's Liam.

Aston Martin has restructured its leadership, naming Andy Cowell as Team Principal in addition to his responsibilities as CEO. Mike Krack will now serve as Chief Trackside Officer. Enrico Cardile steps into the role of Chief Technical Officer, while Tom McCullough remains an integral part of the organization in a senior leadership role.

I can't imagine any current team could afford to pay one billion dollars for anyone.

I would assume that is basically a very long-term contract for the remainder of his career.

In other news Angela Cullen (former Hamilton Trainer) is rejoining Hamilton with Ferrari.

The most exciting pre season news I've heard is something I'm happy to say.....

Will Buxton will no longer be doing the F1TV coverage! I've always thought the guy was just an arrogant drama queen myself. I hope he doesn't drive away the Indycar fan base. But more good news.... since he has already now stated Indycar is the best racing in the world, hopefully this means the Drive to Survive series will see that as a removal from F1 related shows. It would be even sweeter if he covers nothing in the F1 world from now on.

Maybe F1TV heard my pleas and answered them. But either way I'm glad he is gone.

Did I mention how happy I am to see him gone?
