I wouldn't go as far as "big favourite", but I think he's a "serious contender" now he's looking comfortable in the Hyundai.

So basically, Ott needs to win everything tomorrow and hope Neuvillle doesn't acheive any points...better luck next year I guess.

Neuville did what he could today, catching all Rally2 cars. Per usual, unlucky that no Rally1 had any sort of problem when he has issues, like in Latvia. Now he would need a couple points more from Sunday to be sure, we'll have to see how much Tanak will push.
Could Hyundai tell them both not to push, would that be enough for the manufacturer title?
In any case, I wouldn't be surprised if Neuville has more issues tomorrow, that's just his luck. If he gets a DNF, Tanak will need only 7 points out of Sunday.

A lot of if''s and but's for tomorrow, but unless Neuville has engine faliure or breaks his steering arm/suspension tomorrow it's hard for me to see him drop the ball on this one, and even if he does, Tänak still needs those 25 (minimum) points, so....I do hope for Hyundai's sake, they get both titles, so if they do decide to retire at the end of '25/'26 at least it's not a clean sweep from Toyota throughout the 2020's.

Come on, if Toyota weren’t in this championship and we had another non-Japanese manufacturer instead they (the rally) would get the boot at this point.

This is looking much better for Thierry now. All he needs is an average sunday and the championship is his. I think he made a good recovery for now to minimise the loss.
