    This race, boring as it was, did not help the case for racing at Monaco in this modern age. Great as it was for Leclerc, it was a bad showing for Monaco as drivers toddled along slowly around the track saving tire life.

    That said, it was great to see a new race winner at Monaco, and a Monagasque no less. Redbull is looking like they are in a bit of bother at the mo. If they don't bounce back solidly at Canada, the championship will be thrown wide open. They still have the edge but has the competition closed the gap enough to cause an upset this season?

    Ricciado's prospects are also beginning to look dire. Yuki has tamed him comfortably. I am beginning to doubt he would be on the grid next season.
