Aloooooonso
Wow. I mean, just wow. That was just old school toe-2-toe street racing.
Forget the parade in P1 and P2, that P3 was where all the action was.
I have been a big fan of Alonso from day 1. I still backed him when he was in the crud-mobiles and all my friends thought I was nuts.
AND NOW HE IS BACK.
Oh wow. Forget the Red Bores. Alonso is where its at. That's my guy right there.
Man of the match for sure.
Hows about them apples?

Let's hope he keeps it up. I can't see him winning the title but it would sure be the coolest story.

Taz has been waiting a while to post that photo, but Fred certainly earned it at the season opener.
No doubt he still has it. I doubt many drivers can ignore Fred coming up in a capable car, and even in the days of the dog Ferrari he drove he could hound a person from behind. I'd say overall he's probably got the overall top passing ability of the current field and in defending it's almost a joke to him. He can take some really unconventional lines and make it work for him.

Big Larry has the idea .
It was a pink Merc at one point , but they didn't follow the zero concept last year , and now they look like a green Bull .
And , they'll soon have the new factory up and running , and then the new wind tunnel .
And , they have more tunnel time coming to fine tune that green Bull than Red Bull .
It's a car in which one of them , with no time in the car before the event , came sixth .
The other car came third .
Add one motivated Fred to that scenario and one maybe shouldn't count Max's chickens just yet .

Saw this on another forum, and it's claimed to not be a Photoshop.....
Alonso photobomb.jpg
I think the old man of F1 is proving how much he still has it. His mental capacity while driving the car is through the roof, and he's played this game too long to be easily stirred up. After losing the pole at Monaco by the 8 hundredths or so, his first comments were to show appreciation to the team and commend their improvements.

I said it once before and I'll say it again. The Fred renaissance is the feel-good 2023 international sports story. Man, who saw this thing coming. Who'd even have thunk it?

Some tarmac experience would be great, too, but that's fantastic news. Mārtiņš Sesks @MSesks There are other rallies than WRC where to train for tarmac. And we’ll definately use them.
