I guess the C3 R5 is not homologated in time for Monte? Would have been a good opportunity for Lefebvre to rack up early big points in an event he's quick on.

The rules for 4WD were nearly same as today. Wide 18" tyres with certain amount of studs (short ones) allowed. The difference was in allowed cutting and in number of tyres but the basic wide snow tyre design today is same as in IRC times.
