It's a good calendar, that spreads ERC from North to South, East to West. They've also kept only 10 events and gone, as RS mentioned, for a balanced tarmac/gravel proportion.
But Valais will be missed. It has a unique situation in central Europe (close to traditional rally countries, not represented at ERC) and a classic alpine atmosphere, with challenging roads, very similar to those that have forged rally legend.
If Valais manage to get in another time, Eurosport should really keep it for good, promoting it has the perfect rally season finale.Rally addict since 1982

I don't like the calendar very much. 4 of 10 events are held on islands which is very difficult logistically and for me the season ends too early. I also miss some proper mountain rally as many others said.

Now the only one question is: Do they plan to have 2 Fabias R5? (It was mentioned on fiaerc.com website that Nikolay Gryazin will do ERC starts with fabia R5 but nobody said how much. It could be 1 start (and most of all JERC campaign)) ...but for sure I would prefer 2 SRT Fabias R5 in ERC next year. More is better

I think I heard somewhere that they already have two but maybe I am wrong. Anyway two cars doesn't necessarily mean two drivers.

No need for Skoda to enter the ERC in a works capacity next year. Looks like between their customers they should take the majority of the top spots.
