It's highly probably that is referring to the current Chase for the Cup system, improved but, IMHO, so restrictive.

I think he was referring to the addition of the tapered spacer robbing the cars of close to 150 horsepower, the minor aero changes between 2014 and 2015 (etc). I had voted when he posted it as that it would be the same. I think it has turned out slightly worse as there is really no way to pass now except on a restart or if the other guy lets you go like they usually do early in the race.
I should be happy, my guy is dominating the series right now, the first driver since Jeff Gordon way back in 2001 to lead 1200+ laps in the first 15 races. This is my point. Using extra weight to slow a more powerful (electric) car is too crude as the extra weight also has to be braked and rotated. It would be better if they made the same power and...
