It's a good calendar, that spreads ERC from North to South, East to West. They've also kept only 10 events and gone, as RS mentioned, for a balanced tarmac/gravel proportion.
But Valais will be missed. It has a unique situation in central Europe (close to traditional rally countries, not represented at ERC) and a classic alpine atmosphere, with challenging roads, very similar to those that have forged rally legend.
If Valais manage to get in another time, Eurosport should really keep it for good, promoting it has the perfect rally season finale.
