We can expect announcements about the return of Peugeot in the coming years :)
This week, according to AutoHebdo(France)Peugeot-Sport would have already chosen the six drivers for the 2022 endurance season effort !!!
The names would be: Loïc Duval, Jean-Eric Vergne, Paul di Resta, Kevin Magnussen, Mikkel Jensen and Gustavo Menezes...
Some risky names though(regarding experience of some drivers)
Let's wait for the official news...
Today Peugeot-Sport organized a press conference at Le Mans and revealed the official names of the seven drivers for the 2022 season :)

AutoHebdo was right very early about these names, except they didn't write the reserve/developpment driver(James Rossiter from UK) ;)
On next tuesday Peugeot will at last reveal the new Hypercar for the 2022 endurance season :bounce:
Peugeot published an interesting teaser few hours before the official presentation

Looks fabulous - and an interesting concept, without a rear wing.
No Peugeot at 2022 24H of Le Mans...but it was normal, the cars are not ready yet :mark:
They should start at the Le Mans Series in summer...
Peugeot also lost Kevin Magnussen(back to F1)and will have to replace him...but who
New date: 20th of may(in 12 days)in Portugal(Portimao)...Peugeot will reveal the final 9X8, and probably the replacement of Kevin Magnussen among the six drivers ;)
The racing program should be Monza in july, if the homologation of the prototype is done in time...
James Rossiter, the developpment driver, will join the others for the 6H of Monza(10th july) :)
The Brit will replace Kevin Magnussen...remains to be known if he's now official driver for the team or if Peugeot still looks for another name

Finally, Peugeot Sport chose swiss driver Nico Müller as 6th driver for 2023 endurance effort
Maybe they needed a fully committed developpment driver, explaining why they didn't want James Rossitter(who is doing a good job when the proto works)in that position
Pescarolo Sport is back and aims a 9X8 for the 2024 WEC !!!!
