I think on the first one it is just that the camera was very low to the ground.Quote:

Hi All
I'm off to the Rally of Scotland this weekend, coming from Oxfordshire.
I was hoping to sleep in the car on the stages (As I've always done at Wales Rally GB) but it would appear that car parks don't open until a couple of hours before the stages go live?
Does anyone else have experience of this?
Thanks
Mike
Just a word from experience, if anyone is going to watch in Craigvinean and is parking at the hermitage, it is a grass field and I've seen it get very muddy when it rains, and seen people struggling to drive out of the deep mud! Bear this in mind if you are trying to rush to the next stage...
Mike, don't know about this year but have slept in the car at the stages before without a problem, it might be you have to find somewhere overnight and move to the car parks in the morning. Luckily due to the late start on Saturday I can make it home on Friday night, and my brother stays in Stirling so is convenient for Saturday night visit :D
Depending on mobile signal I will try to give some updates through the event on here or twitter @bigrallyfan :)
I went 2 years ago to Loch Achray, can't understand why they don't open the forest car parks the night before, like on RallyGB. That all adds to the adventure - parking in a layby overnight isn't my idea of fun.
There are Premiership footballers and former Cabinet ministers who would disagree.Quote:
