Can I change my mind? :)
The year is 1995.
And the track looks like Elkhart Lake.
Almost right...
In '95 it was a Reynard...which that car looks like.
1995, Ribiero, Reynard, Road America.
We have a winner! Your turn DrDomm...
All I know is that it's got that hideous handford mk II rear wing on it!!!Quote:

I do the method. Johnny Herbert in a DCR Lola at Rockingham in 2000.
Very close. I knew this would be easy.
2001
Right.Quote:

That's actually a really nice picture.

2001 Zanardi Reynard Homestead
Wow, you really know your stuff Doc!

Zanardi tested for Mo Nunn last month, although he was forced to use Tony Kanaan's ride.
According to a news release from the team Kanaan said, "As for my new teammate using my car ... I bedded the brakes for him and I scrubbed some tires for him, so he's ready to go. I'm loaning him my car for two days, and I'll be watching every lap. So he better behave himself!"
The Nunn Team was at Homestead, but it tested on the road course rather than the oval.
Zanardi cranked out 300 plus miles over the road course. It was his first behind-the-wheel duty in a Champ Car since a two-day testing stint last July during which he sat in for an injured Kanaan.
You are correct:  :Quote:

Your Turn DOC.
So the year was right for my guess then!! lol
My mistake drew the photo I had was from 2001 and the info listed was of a Dec 2000 test, But found out that car had red sidepods on it. Sorry for the confusion.Quote:

Very close...better hurry before Phoenix or Chris beat you to it.
Not again! :)
Road America ?
... and it's Galles not Hogan...
There you go. Bingo...
I scanned a pic from a nice motor racing book I bought six years ago, so you probably won't find this particular image on the Net.
The usual stuff...

nice picture - that really was a pretty car.....
Yes, it's an M16B. According to the caption of the picture, everything is OK, except for the track...
That's Indy! Hey Chris WHere ya been?
Yep, it's Indy! The caption says: Mark Donohue during qualifying at Indianapolis in 1972, in the Penske McLaren M16B he drove to win the '500'. The car's deep-chord wings are notable, but the 'detuned' Offenhauser engine that was important to Donohue's victory can only be reported.

It's not letting me attach a photo for some reason. Chris should probably go anyway, as I only "won" because he ran out of fuel on the last lap :p :
