Apparently Meeke had a spin in SS1 and could have been 6-7s faster(this is what he told at the end of stage) :D

SS2 running...go Meeke !!! :bounce:
Third best time overall for Meeke on the high/mountain SS2(6s faster than Vigion and Canivenq)
Up to 3rd in GC now for Meeke after SS3, what happened Mercier? Spin, puncture?
No idea
Very good start for Meeke in all case :p :
But I don't think Vigion and Canivenq really aimed to beat Kris anyway(they have to look at the championship and the trophée BFGoodrich they are leading...so no too much risks to take) ;)
Interesting !!! After SS5 Vigion is only 10s late on Meeke(he climbed back on SS4 and 5, and Canivenq is also reducing his gap) :) :)
Two stages left before end of leg one...
FFSA website is veeeery slow...
Is Maurin having a problem??!!
As usual.Quote:

Oh ok. Thanks ;) !!!!Quote:

First reliability issue for Meeke this season (MC not quite a car issue) and with the factory car too. I guess Sarrazin's 3 day test in the car didn't help. After stage 4 water pump started to fail and engine down on power, pump replaced but failed again at start of SS7. Pity, would have been interesting to see how he would have performed tomorrow.
Is there Superally in the CFR?
Yes, he should restart. It was broken water pump.
Thanks Mirek (I did mention w/pump).Quote:

Pitty for Meeke, but his purpose is to prepare Asturias/Sanremo, so yes he's back in superrally today ;)
I feel mega gutted for Vigion ;(
That damn water pump is the reason of his speed on public road
Michel Bonfils (Impreza WRC) will drive in SupeRally today too.
Snobeck went off! Henry has a comfortable lead now.
By the way Meeke won first stage overal infront of WRC guys :)
UNBILEVABLE the times Kris Meeke is doing today, back in superrally
Best time overall in the short SS12, 2nd best time in the longest stage(SS13 19km) :bounce:
After a Mont-Blanc praparation like this he can only WIN in Asturias and Sanremo :p :
Ludovic Gal crashed on SS15.
Very good times indeed, but we must say that the drivers in a WRC car here are 'only' gentlemen-drivers.Quote:

Travaglia probably won't start :(
And for Meeke a 2nd best time in last stage of rally(the 19km long repeated one)...only +2.2s from Mercier and about 20s faster than any other S2000s
Patrick Henry won ahead of Pierre Barbé and Eddie Mercier...
During the second leg Meeke lost only 23 seconds to Mercier and was faster than Henry by 15 seconds.
Pierre Roché was second. ;) There were a lot of accidents when you see the list of retirements.Quote:

Don't forget about Scandola also ;)
Basso maybe, I agree but Ucci and Rox? My point was Wim just about put Meeke in 5th (without retirements/accidents) before he even starts. P3 is more likely, but hey, we will see. Going to be a good (if short) rally.Quote:

I personally think Kopecky has better chances in San Remo but as you said we will see ;)
Good...next round of tarmac championship, Touquet, is in about a month, but before this is next round of gravel championship(terre des Cardabelles)
Some pictures of the last round of the french championship

Enjoy :)
I created a thread for the french rallies news ;)
I sent PM to J4MIE to merge the threads ;)
Entrylist Rallye du Touquet(rally runs next week so I guess entry is officially closed)
http://www.rallye-letouquet.com/fr/g...e-des-engages/
I was expecting a little bit more, especially concerning the non-french crews :(
Cédric Robert for the first time in an S2000...mmmmh very interesting though :D
I think it's a good entry list Tom. Unfortunately it features the usual problem in French rally championship - bad drivers in good cars and good drivers in bad cars :(
loeb and his wife at rallye du var with C4 WRC
