Real sad for Neuville. MC it’s probably the hardest rally on WRC; one got to have outstanding mental strength, and Ogier’s luck, to win it. Hope tomorrow the Belgium can take PS max points.
On the bright side there was Evans stage wins and Latvala’s excellent times (fingers crossed for a podium!).
Btw, I’m amazed with the forum idiot reaction to Toyota’s fine performance: it takes some nerve to still call Makinen’s team the finish village idiots. What a moron!
On a series of photo's on french forum rallye-forum you can clearly see that it is the cocrete that is the cause of the tire going of the rim and breaking the suspension.
On Kremer’s disappointment over WRC2 privateers small chances: a sort of WRC2 Trophy (or a AM category like in LM GTE) could be created, but support championships like WRC2 must be open to manu’s team. That’s the way to attract more brands into WRC and it’s been common practise since almost ever (Gr.A in Gr.B days, F2/Kit Cars in Gr.A/WRC era and even the last JWRC years).
