Punctures for Vincent Dubert and Sylvain Michel on SS1(4' and 6' lost) ;(
Awsome battle in the new Opel Adam Cup
Santoni, Jouines and Bonato are fighting for the victory whereas the others(from Sirot)are a bit behind...
Interesting battle in the Citroën Junior DS3 R1(8 crews)with Oudot leading in front of Masse and Salas, and the female driver Couturier not far from podium :D
RALLY CHARBONNIERES 2013 CRASH VERICEL - YouTube Some people will never learn... And apparently organizers don't learn from their mistakes either in France. Luckily nothing bad happened now.
Lots of things happened today since the start of leg two Lyon-Charbonnières
Crash of Dany Snobeck(First Motorsport Subaru), mechanical retirements for Pierre Roché(Prodrive Mini)and Gilles Nantet(Porsche ex-leader Michelin Trophy)...
Cuoq is new leader in front of Maurin and Baud after SS8 :D
In Citroën Racing Trophy(R3), if Cédric Robert still dominates the field by a fair margin(about 30"), Kevin Demaerschalk did really good times and takes second position at the expense of Matthieu Maurage and Fabien Michal ;)
The second loop of stages(rerun of 30km SS6 and 25km SS7)takes place in less than an hour...
Victory for Julien Maurin(Ford Fiesta WRC) ahead of Jean-Marie Cuoq(Citroën C4 WRC) and Lionel Baud(Whale WRC) ;)
Ludovic Gal, for the first time driving a Ford Fiesta S2000, won the trophée Michelin(and ended 8th overall)...
Cédric Robert won the 2WDs and Citroën Racing Trophy(10th overall)but Kevin Demaerschalk took the final 2nd position(12th overall)
Rémi Jouines won the first french Opel Adam Cup ahead of Yoann Bonato and Olivier Marty...
Antoine Masse won the first Citroën Junior trophy ahead of Jean-Sébastien Oudot and Ségolène Couturier(first ever lady on the podium of a make cup ??? :D )
Bring on LIMOUSIN now !!!! :bounce:
Remarkable how much Maurin improved compared to last year(s). Nice to see, also nice to see how a 1.6L WRC seems to be able to match a 2.0L WRC in France. :)
Remarkable result from Kevin Demaerschalk to, amazing that he was able to match and beat Robert's times several times. Especially regarding he hadn't been in a modern rallycar for 5 months, and regarding he did not test before... :)
This coming week-end Rallye de la Lys in northern France, with two british drivers in WRC cars(Fenwick in Hyundai and Henry in Ford) ;)
I'll be there, at least the first day :)
Another interesting thing is the come back of Christiann with his Corolla. He has done two "régional" events with Celica (Vervins and Neufchâtel), and now he is joining Barbara and Bayard with WRC in the North !
@Tom : it's Hendy, not Henry :p
Lara Vanneste will be back with Kevin Abbring in Limousin.
Only for Limousin or for the entire 208 Cup
