And Virves again problems this morning
Fantastic rally for Estonian crews

Jesus christ this look so slow, almost like Sardinia but with a smooth surface. Aava and his team has done well lol.
Greensmith faster than Suninen on two stages this morning and level (0.4s) on this one. And he's first on the road...
Interesting quote from Tanak "There is no plan for today, we have to drive. We're trying different things for ourselves, we'll see what we do with this info because we won't come back to Estonia with this car."
#1
Gryazin blocking the stage. Red flag.
Rolled.
I am really really impressed by Fourmaux. He has little experience on gravel but is nearly on the pace of the fastest guys today, constant top 5. Now Gryazin he is on the WRC2 podium! And that with the Fiesta that is reported to be not too good on gravel. Just look at his teammate who should be more at ease on that kind of stages.
Its seems Mikkelsen pushed a little bit more in this stage, faster than 3 wrc crews. Too sad Ostberg didnt finish.

Unfortunately it's game over for us. The rear of the car hit the rut and turned the front out the road. The wheel came off and we can't continue. Crew ok.

A bit up and down this morning. I drive to the limit all the time. When we have grip, we're faster than anyone, on other stages we are loosing a lot of time, more than normal. It's on the differencial side. But we've taken nearly 17 sec off Andreas today, so that's good
https://sport.err.ee/1608279750/ring...uhtimiskeskust - in Estonian, but from video you can see the rally control room. Quite impressive I would say.
Tyre news
Here's what the crews have opted to take for this afternoon's loop.
Ogier/Suninen/Loubet/Evans/Rovanperä:
6x soft compound
Tänak/Breen/Neuville/Greensmith
2x hard compound, 4x soft compound

So for his money Greensmith got a car that overheated after 3 stages and now the steering isn't straight and the centre diff is unusable unless locked. Maybe a WRC2 campaign would have been a better investment...
Evans turned car to stage mode finally? (compared to Ogier)
Greensmith Gus - Patterson Chris
"Very rutted. Tracks are very narrow but it doesn't matter because the steering has been like this (misaligned) since service.."
Seb is slightly pissed off lol
hahaha
Tanak the stage was very tricky.

Collected some bits and pieces from the field after Ott and Martin visited it. Returned to Hyundai and got Martins shoes in return. All parties are happy!

Bulacia is upping his pace. Good progress to this young Bolivian

I wonder, what is the risk-level for Tänak at the moment. Really impressive times - but he does not have any hurries. He don't need to take any risk, but he can take risks because nothing to loose at the moment. Only if he bricks the car and can not fight tomorrow for points on "not a stage".
Lukyanuk Alexey - Fedorov Yaroslav
"(How are you fast?) I have a feeling that someone is always trying to pass me!"
With those impressive times Tänak makes compliment for Hyundai engineers - car is fast and competitive. Just Tänak himself don't deliver expected points this time.
Breen 7sec down in 2nd split. Taking no risks or some slow puncture?
edit: 8.7sec in finish, no problems.
... another puncture for Ostberg
WRC Live signal down. How come?
Heli shots and stage-side camera's make such a difference to the viewing experience.
What is the status of daniel barritts back today?
More Msport problems......
