I would like to point out that we beat you 2-1 ;)
Atleast last night he was on fire 3+2 against Chicago when Ducks beat Blackhawks 6-3.Quote:

I wonder in shape Forsberg is. It's no secret he has had a lot of problems with his ankle.
Hossa to Pittsburg with only a few minutes to spare! With him, Malkin and now Sid The Kid skating again, this team will be unstoppable.
Still waiting for OJ trade. He in Ducks or alongside with Iginla would be so cool.
Not gonna happen. The NHL trade deadline was a couple of hours ago...
Capitals get Huet from Montreal, and Fedorov from Columbus. Also Cooke from Vancouver.
Yep, the Habs have now put all their playoff hopes into their rookie goalie Price. Although he had a win last night against the Thrashers, he wasn't exactly tested by the Hossa-less team.
Gaining a second round draft pick, I'm not convinced this was a good move for the Habs :mark:
I think Price's bless was hugely over-rated Lehtonen on the other goal.Quote:

Lehtonen performed o.k. It was the Atlanta defence that let him down.Quote:

Oh, btw, Habs tied for first in the East (despite their loss in the Tank) :D
Sens loose again...
Hat trick in the 1st period, 5 for the game. :)
Reasons as to why they call him 'Alexander the Great'. ;) :D
'Alexander the Greatly Paid' :D
Well he seem to be every penny worth.
I'm going up to St. Paul Sunday to watch San Jose and Minnesota play. :D Normally I'm a Nashville fan, but I like the Wild too. Plus, I always liked Joe Pavelski when he was a UW Badger, so I picked a San Jose game to go to this year.
He wasn't much help to the Predators last year. But ultimately it was the sieve in the goal that cost the Preds. Thankfully he's in Florida now! :DQuote:

How about that Crawford fella at Chicago. Gets a shutout in his first ever NHL game
I saw a good one in Minnesota Sunday. Brian Ralston tied it up 2-2 with 20 seconds left in the third. San Jose won it in the shootout though. Joe Pavelski (Wisconsin kid) got the first goal in the shootout for San Jose and Pierre-Marc Bouchard made a nice spin move to tie up the shootout 1-1 right after that.
4 - zip shutout for Price last night. I had my doubts about this kid but he's quickly proving me wrong...
It still remains to be seen how he'll handle playoff pressue :mark:
Crawford saved my Hawks from getting routed by the Wings but it looks as if their playoffs chances are kaput
How many rounds there still are before the playoffs begin?
Not sure; about a dozen I think.
Last games are played on April 6th.
UK Elite League Round up:
1 Coventry Blaze 82
2 Sheffield Steelers 78
3 Nottingham Panthers 69
4 Belfast Giants 68
5 Newcastle Vipers 58
6 Cardiff Devils 53
7 Manchester Phoenix 47
8 Edinburgh Capitals 37
9 Basingstoke Bison 37
10 Hull Stingrays 31
I guess I will settle for a mid table position it's a big improvement on last year but with the players we have I still think we should be top 3.
Habs have clinched :D

You can also add the Oilers to the Golfing Brigade....Flames made sure of that last night :)
Flames play again tonight and can clinch with one point.
Well, the Flames lost to the Wild, but Vancouver also lost, so Calgary is in the playoffs.
With a win on Saturday, and if the Pens lose on Sunday, the Habs will take the conference title
UK Elite League Playoff semi Finals
Coventry Blaze 4-2 Newcastle Vipers
Sheffiled Steelers 2-1 Cardiff Devils
UK Elite League Playoff final
Coventry Blaze 0-2 Sheffield Steelers
Pens lose!Quote:

PAH!
Here is how I see the first round shaking out:
WEST
Detroit should rule Nashville as I think the Preds are in disarray.
San Jose may beat Calgary but it will be close. Why? SJ lost two in a row after going 18-0-2. Losing streaks into the playoffs is a bad thing.
Minnesota should take care of Colorado because I don't believe in the Avs D and they are playing with past glory. This team is going to need a rebuild very soon.
Anaheim should defeat Dallas but this will also be close unless Brad Richards does not come back.
EAST
Montreal should beat Boston because if Boston brass doesn't believe in Tim Thomas then why should I? (although I do - I just do not understand that situation).
Pittsburgh is going to kill Ottawa because the Sens are another team in disarray with too many key injuries. This is NOT the same team that started 14-0-and whatever.
Philly is going to defeat Washington because the Caps are going to be like the Pens last year - no playoff experience.
New Jersey is going to beat the Rangers because the Rangers can't beat NJ and their captain is the uninspired Jaromir Jagr.
