The Samsung channel is showing 2 live stages today. Not bad for a freebie. Hopefully, it continues to show live stages during every event!

Pre stage Julian Porter was saying how he loves, LOVES, night rallying with the glowing brake discs, glowing exhausts and the camera flashes going off... and then RallyTV shows 100% onboards!

Do anyone have a clue (if the scenario with 9 teams really happens), how the WRC Live will be organized with all those 27 and rally2 cars alongside.. I mean even now when there are 9-10 cars and few of the second tier have a huge problems event after the event. Do we fans will need to be infront of screens from wednesday to sunday without any break at all? Any suggestions or maybe any idea how that could work if there could be at least two cars at each team (that's like 18 cars for main category if we allow us to dream)... I don't have any clue, because right now I already don't have time to watch it live always... And it's even nore annoying watching replays, since it took the whole day.

Dont worry, there will not be 9 teams. WRC27 rules are still not finished. And beside Toyota there is almost nobody developing it...

Rally2 Cars will be in the top class in 2027 though. I'll guess they'll just show the best drivers in them.

we gotta wait to see if the new promoter continues with the same wrc+ format
if they do, it would be like the current "9 rally1 plus a few rally2 cars" or the erc
they dont show eeeeeevery car. probably sticking to the top15 on the event or so

I would like to have that problem :)

Is there any way to change the refresh rate on the app? Tried to find a setting for it but didn’t, for some reason it’s at 1080p 50fps and it feels so unnatural…

New year, same old crap...
Looking at live onboards is great, but having 0 or 1 road side cameras on the live feed is just ridiculous. Seeing footage from fans on the stages looks so much better.
I understand You can't plant cameramen all along the course but come on...
And then, to top it all off, instead of showing rally2 cars we switch to Kiri Bloore in service park where she just takes up screen time and says absolutely nothing and seeing Jon Armstrong's journey to WRC. Instead of actually showing us the rally...

How can the live service be so shit

It has been that way ever since they started All-Live back in 2018...to add insult to injury they now show the footage at 50fps and I find it really jarring to the eye...but hey at least now we have a no commentary option...

I totally agree.

And this Monte has been especially bad with 90% onboards and very few stage side cameras or helicopter views.

All-live is often just a way of following the rally, not actually enjoying it... that waits for all the fan videos.

What has it been before?

It was quite good at first it started. ALl those amazing features.. And they could just improve them and add more... No they increase price, move absolutely everything behind paywall and make it way worse. Then they introduce new apps, and make it so bad, it's almost always watching it complete pain in the ass. That's the reason I don't follow it closely for some time now. If the costs are the reason, then they should stop doing that, and switch back to live radio (which for my opinion was quite awesome) and show 2 stages per day (and I don't mean pointless onboards all the time, but side cameras, helicopter, drones where is possible and some interesting sections with onboards. Also it would bring back some challenge to drivers, when they would not learning stages with videos. After all those years and platform becoming worse every single season It's the only logical solution. And don't get me started with basic app even working, because it's NOT. On Android phone I can't even log in into account (maybe someone have a solution, but I doubt it).

On the other side I like when there is tyre pressure alert now shown to viewers, but why can't they show the other thing too, like power steering, intercom, suspension damage, electrical fault and so on. And also if someone hit the trouble, it could at least give us some sort of news on top corner of screen if someone hit the troubles (in case when there is not available replay at the moment).

I like also, when they move those after stage interviews on small picture withing the main picture... I remember when the half os stages was just watching those interviews on big screen and was annoying as hell. But they still lack some things like, showing us driivers going into the stop control after finish line all the time. It's complete non-sense.

Reading some time ago, that they have a vision to introduce ghost car animation being on the live broadcast... Well good luck with that, and I imagine they will never be able to do that, since they don't fix even the basic things. Also that interface is sadly STILL stupid and non-user friendly. You got lost every single time to find what you actually want to watch, because it's filled with everything else that CURRENT important action.

Is there anyone who like the platform?

It annoys me, they send previews and reviews when the stage is live, i mean they have their own channel they can be done with that before the stage is go. Also they can show more cars, and more live from the servicepark.

Huh, interesting. I don't seem to have the option to disable commentary on the live feed. Just 4 languages and that's it. Same on TV app and on the Android phone.
Also looked under the account options, couldn't find it...
