If the tyre can't stay in one piece on the road, that's not the road's fault.
it's the same thing i wrote.
just added an issue may be in the use of the tyre, not only in their manufacturing. (a different set up saturday caused way less problems)

But this extreme problem for virtually everyone hasnt happened before, nor on the following 2 days in Paraguay.
So while it wasnt the fault of those Friday roads, maybe the teams should've analysed them better, used the hard tyres and told the drivers not to push too hard.
Exactly! Teams have enough data to see what might happen and set up a strategy. Just act accordingly and the tyres will be fine enough to reach stage ends.

Looking back at the Friday stages, nearly all the tyre delaminating issues were on one stage SS3/SS7 Yerbateras.
This could've been exceptionally bad due to hard, sharp bedrock under the surface plus it was the 3rd stage of both loops.
The punctures of Ogier on SS1 and SS2 were just unlucky as only Neuville also had one there. His rant about the Hankooks was probably more in disappointment at this misfortune and his mistake in damaging the suspension himself hitting the bank.

So is performance better, I mean is there a better grip? Should we ask Toyota and their drivers? Ogier and Katsuta? Those two crashes was scary and I don't say it's tyre's fault, but I'm thinking if better grip was even achieved with new tyres.
