WRC Rally Italia Sardegna 2026

Neuville surveying his next year's employment... he looked at M-Sport Fords... :D

Disclaimer: this is joke, I have no info about anything.

Even Ekstrom changed his long time employer Audi and moved to Ford. Sometimes situations like this happen. It's just that he is in situation where he could probably needs to start all over again with development and so on.

Last rumors I heard were fourmaux to ford, and neuville partial program with hyundai rally2.

Seems Evans isn't going to get 4th o/a but neither does Solberg seem to get full Sunday points (although Sami's lead in splits is still slim).

Yes but will Hyundai even bother since restrictor thing. They were hoping they could be challenging kit and WRC27 cars, even with 10 event programme. But now, what is the point?

Barring any mistakes for Solberg, he has this in the bag. Current Evans pace will see him take 1 SS point and 1 PS point, at most. I think his best chance will be the PS, more likely to get 4pts in there

Ogier not pushing. So Evans has only Solberg, Pajari and Fourmaux in front. If he beats one of them in either super sunday or PS, he'll be champion. Maybe Ogier will push on the PS only?

So that should be 2 points for Evans on Super Sunday, assuming no one has any puncture..

So Evans needs 3 points from PS, that means he has to go basically all in on PS.. Or hope that Neuville can do his usual push on Sassari PS and steal a point from Solberg, where conditions might get worse for later cars in the second pass.. Wow that will be close.

Well, that prediction didn´t go well, neither mine in another forum... -7,8 secs guys! That´s crazy, agree.

I also wonder if by power stage if Pajari has no chance, who does he prefer to win the title, Evans or Sollberg? My guess is Evans.

Will be interesting to see if Ogier takes his stop line instruction from Solberg . . .

My hunch is “non”. But let’s see.

At the end.. if Pajari doesn't want Solberg's title, he could stop on the road section and let Evans take his position and points

It seems like it is a team order to stay away from the fight but the only beneficial here is Elfyn. I don't believe that Ogier on his own will dropped that much time knowing that in case of a slow puncture the potential win is at stake. Unfortunately this probably will decide the outcome......
