[WRC] Delfi Rally Estonia 2026

Congrats to Pajari, perfect weekend, like Solberg last year. And finally a mistake-free weekend for Oliver too.
Hyundai decent pace, I don't think you could ask Neuville and Fourmaux to be faster than Solberg and Pajari in Estonia, with also worse position on the road.
Good showing from Evans today, outscoring Ogier.

Pajari - Brilliant, very well deserved.
Solberg - Just what he needed, you could see he was fighting with himself to not try and chase Pajari, but kept a lid on it and got back on track
Fourmaux - Very good, couple of close moments, but kept it together
Neuville - Excellent in the ruts on 2nd pass. nearly got back to his teammate.
Ogier - Surprised how much Pajari took off him on day 1 given road position was only 1 different. That said, not been here for a few years and it obvisouly made a difference. He is human after all.
Evans - Did the most he could really, solid drive.
Sesks - Silly mistake on shakedown put him on the back foot, but good thereafter. Probably got pretty much the most out of the Puma
Lappi - Same as Sordo. Seems very tough to step into the car and be on the pace without the seat time. Hopefully Finland is better coming straight away.
Armstong - If he didn't have bad luck he'd have no luck. Minor line error over jump on stage 1 caused the puncture and rally was effectively over.
Taka - Unlucky. Did a decent job until the tyre blew
Mcerlean - Reasonable job until the car failed. Still think WRC is a level beyond him.

I couldn't miss seeing Rally1 cars maybe for the last time so I was attending it the whole three days and couldn't watch the broadcast. Did the official feed or Estonian Go3 mention anything about Rally Estonia 2027?

The more I think about it the more I would’ve like to see these cars run their full run until the end of this decade, until everyone sorts their sh*t out, have Hyundai commit, and see these majestic machines in all the rallies we still haven’t been wether it’s Scotland next year or any other cool round they’d add later on. Such a shame :(

Unbelievable to think that from next year we won’t see these kind of speeds anymore.

Pure joy to watch
Watching this, two things come to mind, I’m mad we aren’t keeping those rally1’s for another season or 2 and second, with all that frustration and lack of commitment from Hyundai, I’ll be annoyed not to see that car been driven next year.
I think it’s safe to say now, yes those rally1’s are a bit too expensive but if I could keep anything going into the next set of regulations, it’s that Global Racing Engine because my god does it sound Mighty, nothing quite like it (unless they’d decide to upsize to a 2 Litre one ;)

I have to say I'm disappointed with the pace of Jurgenson in the Fiesta Rally2, especially after all the upgrades it had at the end of 2025.

It's well off the Toyota's and Skoda's and doesnt bode well for 2027 even with the WRC2 Kit. :(

I'd just add that there will be many WRC/WRC2 entrants at next month's Grampian Rally in Scotland. We may get a better idea of how competitive the Fiesta is with Armstrong vs the top guys in Toyota, Skoda and Lancia's there.

A nice thought but they had to bite the bullet and make a decision.

Change is rarely easy but it has to come and sometimes people just have to be pushed to commit by setting a deadline.

as i understood from them its gone from the calendar

Looks like Virves became the main WRC2 title contender and Sami entered the championship chat. Also Toyota drivers are top 5 in the championship.

Looks like we will have a great ending of the season !
