WRC Calendar 2027

If they aren't going to sign at least one multi-time winner, preferably a titled champion, then they can cancel the announcement, there's no news

I'm afraid that this announcement will not be any new manufacturer, anyone out of both former champions being back, no news on calendar, and still not any clearity over sporting regulations. What will it be?

Most possible by my thinking:
-Toyota and M-Sport revealing their cars
-Ogier announcing continuing his part time for another season
-Portugal officialy out and Scotland in
-and Rally1 retaing their name for top category. We will see how much I will fail this prediction and more importantly, how much will I nail it 🤣

I agree, Ford made play in the summer their future line up would be 'rally-bred', how can they say that without having equity in the sport today. They need an angle to distinguish they're product from everyone else's, this could be it. Fingers crossed anyway.

Swedish broadcaster just had on the news that Rally Sweden organizer i near being bankrupcy.
Umeå municipality will not put in money in the rally anymore.

Sweden has been my favourite rally a lot of years. This would be a real shame. Especially since, where are they realistically going to get another snow/ice/studs rally?

Probably the Arctic Rally
Do you think that's realistic?

It would mean Finland getting two WRC events a year, or the current summer WRC rally Finland ending. Both would be unpalatable to various people.

Whilst I'm sure they could organise a rally with funding, I'm not so sure it would get on the calendar.
