WRC Calendar 2027

You’d think that at this point when they literally all the time talk about switching they’d confirm it already but it seems everything is running late in the world of WRC this year.
i think a couple of weeks after the race is a normal time for a report.

Can we start guessing?
Monte, Sweden, Argentina, America, Croatia, Canarias, Japan, Acropolis, Latvia, UK, Finland, Rome, Saudi...

I've heard some rumblings that the new promoter is speaking with Rally Australia... 2028/9 test event and then in the calendar 2029/30.

Well if it's not back in the WRC, I'm glad at least the organizers are keeping it running for the time being.

About Rally Estonia, in the local news there was a bit with the CEO of Rally Estonia Janno Siitan

The new promoter of the WRC series was in Southern Estonia this week. 'We spent quite a few hours with them holding various discussions. Apparently, the ultimate truth regarding the future of Rally Estonia will become clear by the beginning of September. We have done everything on our part and are giving 120% so that the history of Rally Estonia continues,' Siitan concluded successfully.

Suggestion from the boss of Lancia Corse that there will be 15 rounds next season, unless that's hyperbole or transcription error. Article is basically saying what we already know on their position on the kit and participation.

it's just non so competent the journalist.

it's just that this newspaper is not really covering rally and minor sports, so a lot of articles are a bit superficial (i.e: it's written that citroen is not considering the rally2 kit, as if a standalone manufacturer). i may be wrong but I think 15 is just rounding up the numbers while speaking. none of the press in italy picked up on that quote, no questions, no thinking about this number.

If it were 15 events does that mean we’d be keeping Kenya or…..what?
