WRC Calendar 2027

Apart from Kenya & Chile who are seemingly out for next year and Scotland coming in & Estonia might be replaced again by Latvia, any other changes to the calendar for next year? Are they going to stick with sticking all the tarmac events in the first half of the season?

I research and found out that Monte-Carlo, Kenya, Chile, Paraguay and Estonia don't have contracts for 2027. But we can all assume Monte will be there. Kenya have discussion to move funding into private sector, so it's a big possibility they will be there too. There is already Scotland having a spot on calendar and USA is finally coming, menas either they will add one more spot on calendar or 2 of those three oare out. I think that one in south america will stay.

Japan is at the same time with space for Indonesia shortly after.

Don't forget the US of A which should also be in the calendar for 2027.

Now that this, ‘let’s do all the tarmac events in the first half of the year’ experiment is over, do you guys think they’ll do the same thing next year or will they have learnt their lesson and revert it back to a more conventional, equally bias, Spring-Summer(?)-Autumn arrangement with Croatia for example moving to October?

october tarmac slot would be italy (rome erc switching for sardinia from next year on)

Also there were reports about Poland. I suppose they would also want to keep their autumn date like in ERC.

Poland?? Again?? I thought it was a one time comeback in 2024, how come Ypres isn’t considered or I don’t know, Mexico???

Do you guys think USA are now in for next year seeing they completed successfully their candidate event and does anyone here, hear of any other rumours regarding next year’s calendar?

US of A will be after Rally Japan... and Indonesia will be added the following year but not sure when. They're still in talks about a date but the rally is set up.

“ Everything, therefore, is on track, but when will we get confirmation that the US is returning to the WRC for the first time since 1988?

“In the coming months, for sure, the work will continue and hopefully by the time that the promoter is ready to submit the calendar for approval for the FIA World Motorsport Council, we are going to see Rally US as part of the calendar,” Abel concluded.”
Wtf?!?!? What do you mean coming months….we’re 7 months away from next year, honestly this discipline is a joke….ffs…

Estonia will be out for a few years...
It's been oddly quiet here in Estonia too, in the sense that usually there are bits and pieces of news here and there to help you piece the puzzle together. If it's true, it would be both weird and sad because we currently have so many young, fast drivers, and rallying in Estonia has never been in a better place. Virves and Vaher would be very fast here next year with the new WRC27 regulations, and I think Ott will do a few rallies next year too.

Last April, the Rally of Mina Clavero was cancelled due to an ugly crash, where several people were improperly placed along the stage.

I suspect that the WRC isn't eager to go there next year.

Any news regarding Estonia for next year? or is Latvia primed to take it's place? Also, does anyone know if they're going to replace Kenya with a different event in Africa or are they dropping it altogether?

Haven't heard but one thing is strange that if they knew that this would be a last WRC for a while, they could promote this year's event that for some time we won't have it and come and watch.
