[WRC] 5. Rally Chile BioBío 2026

Chile usually had a bit less puncture risk than Paraguay, for example. Recent years saw problems with delamination, which is why they increased the amount of tyres and even added the possibility of teams giving 2 tyres on Saturday refuelling in Arauco.

That's a bit embarassing to Hankook.

Many rallies never have tyre issues, but it seems this year ''editions'' are more rough, harder and unpredictable. Someone with no common sense would think like that or Hankook would say that, but we all know the truth. The truth Ogier was saying recently.

Weather foecast:

Rain overnight and early on Friday could leave the opening stages damp, muddy and slippery.

Saturday should be sunny and windy, with gusts up to 48 km/h, before another dry but cold start on Sunday.

Looking at a live webcam, the streets of Concepcion look wet. It seems the forecast was correct and Fridays stages could be wet too.

So rain here means stage will be more slippy the more cars going?
I´d say also how intesive rain will happen for each driver...
