Tried searching. He was active on another forum, that he co-founded(?) - https://www.rallyanarchy.com/phorum/profile.php?7,5 and there's the business website that is not in the best shape - http://www.rallyrace.net/jvab/

There are some contacts there, so you can try reaching out.

If the thread has unread posts it'll go to that first. If it doesn't then click on the Date and time, that's a link that'll take you to the final post.
Is there a way to have the forum show 50 posts at once? I had it on that setting before, but I can't seem to find it.

I have to say the forum is really quick and snappy, it’s so weird I wasn’t aware it could be this fast, and that I can finally edit my messages if needed on my iPad, thanks a million! It’s an absolute pleasure! Thanks again!!!!

It keeps getting attacked by botnets, so if you see a slowdown it'll be that.

Spent a bit of time following the Rallye di Roma Capitale and noted the relatively poor times posted by the main Lancia drivers - Yohan Rossel and Nikolay Gryazin.

Andrea Crugnola and Yoann Bonato have been on the pace; so why the big difference?

The answer appears to be the tyres: Hankook-shod Gryazin and Rossel are no match for Crugnola (Pirelli) and Bonato (Michelin). This has been, probably, the best back-to-back performance comparison between the tyre giants.

Anyone know what happened to @Mirek? IIRC he seemed to have some car manufacturing/building experience, or was technically minded.

Unfortunately, Mirek lost his interest in rallysport completely. In the previous years, we were in everyday contact via forum here or czech forum.autosport.cz, we have meet personally on events, via ICQ or later Whatsapp. But in 2020 he suddenly stopped any discussions on czech forums and was discussing only here. And in 2024 he completely stopped also here. He is even not attending rally events, completely changed his world :-(

not really, only crugnola was fighting for the win. bonato was taking care of the car because of the national event the week after, gryazin and rossel were doing development test.

You don´t leave an interest just like that! Especially not Rallying on international level...

I lost interest in F1 for a good 5 years, just so happened to coincide with my second child arriving, But it drags you back in eventually.
