Promoter news and rumours

Was that the new promoter's first paid piece?

They said a lot about they've heard and know things but without saying what they've heard and know. Guess I'll have to wait a bit longer.

I feel they couldn't talk because of NDA stuff.

how can we annoy the heck out of the new promoter to have an account here to get some hardcore feedback?

gotta tell them to have a "best fan footage" during the rallies haha or something more explicit about SEND US YOUR CLIPS. i love to check yt at night for those awesome fan footages on the woods, its so enterteining. theres thousands of views on some of those. imo they NEED to incorporate more of that on the broadcasts or coverage. i would even exchange some of the pro footage during the stages for more "crappy" fan footage hehe

Not sure the broadcasters would buy that, but it would be a HUGE addition to the YT portfolio and would be such a viral hit! Great suggestion!

It would / could just encourage morons to stand in stupid positions

they could just link the video with a ticket when doing the application and then revoke the ticket and ban the morons from the rally, ez

anyway idk if that would even be that popular. wasn't Eurosport doing something like that with IRC/ERC?

So cut out the sponsors banners?
It would be just for internet purposes, TV product will remain the same and highlights on YT as well. Let's say it would be extra material to throw.

Keep in mind that all those views (from the fan channels) are basically lost revenues with Google's Adsense.

UK CPM is around £20 and considering 5M views year-long it would be 100.000£ of extra revenues just from Adsense. Add on it Meta and TikTok revenues for creators, plus potential sponsors for those specific videos.

It starts to be an interesting extra revenue to explore.

Every YT video is basically fighting for the same pot of revenue so it doesn't matter so much. 5mill views gives you more like something around 5.000€ depending on time of year, late is much more profitable than early in the year

I worked in a media company (ciaopeople, one of the biggest in Southern Europe) and trust me, it's not 5K€ on a yearly average :ROFLMAO:

Is the production cost worth it?

Idk about that, my friend is pretty big YouTuber in a Eastern European country and he is able to around 5k euro from around 400-500k views, without any sponsorship or subscription.

YouTube is able to make pretty nice money if you know how to use the platform.

And most importantly it can work well as a way for engagement, which WRC needs.
