News from France

Interesting, Thierry Neuville's nephew(Tom Heindrichs)will drive his Opel Corsa Rally4 next month at Rallye du Touquet(maybe in the french Stellantis cup) ;)

Rallye Charbonnières Rhône started yesterday friday, and as expected, Yoann Bonato is leading, in front of Anthony Fotia and Hugo Margaillan(we have two Citroën and two Hyundaï) ;)

Léo Rossel was 2nd overall but went off the road and retired(no injuries for the crew) :mark:

Cédric Robert crashed his Alpine too(it was so rare from him to make a mistake) :s

For our danish friends on the forum, look at WHO is leading the round of the Stellantis Cup after day one Rallye Charbo: Jacob Madsen !!!! :D

With more than 20" advantage on Lucas Darmezin and Pablo Sarrazin ;)

Today saturday six stages to go...

The Danish friends on the forum are not surprised, that Jacob Madsen is doing well :-) However - that he is doing SO well is impressive!!

Really interesting!!! A new class of cars will be born in France thanks to the FFSA(french motorsport federation): the RC6/Rally6(under the current Rally5, so less expensive)

Peugeot is the first brand developping this new car(based on a 208), and the FFSA will soon communicate about their 2025 trophy/cup based on that car ;)

More news to come on 18th october...

Renault on the way

Currently running the Rallye des Routes du Nord(northern), Jos Verstappen and Roger Hodenius both decided to retire from the event after SS2 today(for personnal reason) !!!

For more info, Verstappen took the lead from Bjorn Syx on SS2... :mark:

They got penalized for tyre warming on the roadsection, as far as I read. Same for Syx and a few others.
