Lancia Corse HF

Well who expected something else? It's a brand that almost everyone associates with the wierd models from 90s-20s.

It will take time and more new models until people will take Lancia seriously again.

It's also very very ugly car. But what Lancia car was ever looking nice. Only the original Delta.

I quite like the Ypsilon from the side profile and rear but the front is a bit weird. Strangely the Rally2 car looks more like the Citroen than the road car.

Anyway, in these days of successful retro reboots (Renault 5, Fiat 500) it’s a shame they didn’t make a modern Delta.

I'm wondering what rallies Lancia will nominate this season. Croatia, Canarias, and Japan most likely. But what about the other 3?

Do you care how car looks if it wins? It's a rally racing, not fashion exhibition.
And what do you like about Toyota anyway? it looks like wide leg spreaded duck from behind.

First gravel outing completed for the Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale at Rally Città di Foligno.

Strong performance from Nikolay Gryazin (P2 overall). Next stop: Croatia Rally – WRC2.

Alongside our official teams already competing on the international stage, 2C Junior Team joins our WRC2 programme with two brand-new Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 HF Integrale cars.

Starting from the Acropolis Rally Greece, @leo.rossel and @guillaumemercoiret, together with @connermartell21 and @alexgelsomino, are ready to take on the challenge.

New crews. One Lancia spirit.

Unfortunately, the project to bring Lancia back to the Donegal International Rally for this year’s event, with William Creighton behind the wheel, has not come together.

While it won’t be happening for Donegal 2026, we remain hopeful that a Lancia Ypsilon Rally2 will be seen competing on Irish stages in the not-too-distant future.

I was disappointed to read this. But I guess it shows the high demand for the new Lancia is continuing.

French team 2C Compétition have received their two Ypsilon Rally2 and will run a few WRC2 events(starting with Greece at the end of this month): their drivers will be Léo Rossel and Conner Martell(american driver, already drives a Skoda on french gravel events) ;)
