Actually I do think this GP2 season could be pretty exciting. Because there are a fair amount of young serious talents.
The problem with GP2 has been that for years we have got "journeymen champions". Drivers, who have average talent, have been hanging around for years, and finally win in the right team and by the virtue of experience - Palmer, Leimer, Valsecchi. None of them were taken seriously by F1 circles.
However, now, for the 2015 season, we have Vandoorne, Gasly, Lynn, and to a lesser extent Marciello and Evans as hot favourites of the season. It is likely we can get the first serious champion after Grosjean (2011), who actually proceeds to F1 and can make a competitive career there.
