[ERC] Rally di Roma Capitale 2026

Rossel wins the first (city) stage. Suninen is down in the 26th position, despite losing 5 seconds only.

Shame for Rossel having car issues putting him out of the fight.

And Marczyk with intercom problems hasnt helped him.

Suninen still impressing on tarmac, but the other ERC regulars cant match him.

Tyre strategy happening this afternoon, some trying to preserve them for later on due to the wear on the hot roads. Let's see how it plays out.

Also Rossel is basically just testing the chassis set up after losing time this morning.

Crugnola didn't stand the pressure from Dapra and went out off the road an into the trees.

Many other drivers had problems as well:
Gryaznin out (gearbox?)
Creighton puncture
Matulka puncture
Pelamorgues with a big big save, but still in the rally...

just a shout out here on the topic, not able to watch the race now, only on monday 30min highlights =/

GO TANAK on the zerocar! haha

checking some stuff out, avoiding spoilers... but ewrc doesnt register tanak's times. do anyone have infos on his run? haha im so curious. he said for the italian tv theres no plans for next year with toyota but 'never say never'

Lancia entered 5 crews, but it's still Skoda that is going to win the rally...

Are the Lancias running on Hankooks?

On the flipside the Skoda doesn't seem to work very well on the Hankooks on tarmac in WRC2.

Rossel and Gryazin will be as they're using this as a test.

Mabellini is on Pirellis as probably the other Italians.

I don't think there are any times officially recorded, probably just by some guys with stopwatch.

Conratulations to Roberto Dapra on his first win in ERC!

The timekeepeers on the event will record the times of all of the course cars. They will be entered on the timecards carried in those cars and duplicated on the timekeepers' checksheets. It is important that they do this so the systems are all operating correctly before the first competitors arrive. These times may not necessarily be entered into the results system computers and if they are they will not be published. It should also be noted that the "Zero" car should not be travelling at full competitive speed. The car has a job to do for the event organisers and chasing stage times is not part of that job.

Very impressive drive and result here for Suninen against the Italians. He did much better than the other ERC regulars and made up for his DNF in Sweden.

He's looking a much more calm and steady driver nowadays and his experience is showing. I hope he keeps it up.

Agree, of the series regulars he`s well in the lead and no one seems to be able to compete against him on speed.
