[ERC] Barum Czech Rally Zlín 2026

There was one Ford on start, but with local gentleman driver. Original plan at M-Sport was fight for title with Armstrong, but when he has moved to WRC, they completely disappeared from ERC. Which is a pity. I think that for Jurgensson or Johansson should be good to do full season there...

It now seems mainly designed for the gravel events when drivers do want to be fastest and win the latest road position.

For tarmac it needs to go back the fastest driver getting to choose his start position.

It is simple. Promoter, when he came to ERC, aboslutely dont understand qualifying stage and start order selection. In the first year he completely didnt cover QS. They wanted to cancel both and start strictly according to championship standings, like in WRC. Thanks god at least QS stayed...

Drivers were choosing their starting positions indeed, but it was in the previous years. This year this rule was abandoned.

Not only this year. It was abandoned with arrival of new promoter, so few years ago.
