Also, in the return of the #3 to the track with Austin Dillon, he hit everything but the pace car. It has led to further investigations.

And so it ends... That retirement announcement caught everybody by surprise.
In the span of 2-3 years, NASCAR loses many/most of its biggest stars: Jeff Gordon, Tony Stewart and now Dale, Jr. Wow! NASCAR still has some very talented racers left. But the name recognition and following that those guys brought to the table will be severely missed, IMO.
