They should have asked him of he would be down to sponsor a one make WRC1 series, but this time with a cool car. Now we get one anyway, but with an ugly "what the hell is even this" car
 
It was done before.. VW, Hyundai did have two teams, but ok, that time they only could enter with 2 cars per team max. I don't know why they didn't doi it already before. If you look at leaderboard you see second team of Toyota with only one driver did score far more than M-Sport with 2.

Also what if Toyota will have 2 different cars? I said a couple of times that Toyota is/will save championship.
 
Years ago we had just Ford and Citroen.

M-Sport used to have teams like Stobart VK and Munchis and we saw multiple Focus WRC Cars.

Citroen had their factory team plus a Junior team and Petter Solberg with his own C4 team.

Toyota can have a couple of their own factory teams with the WRC27 (plus there will be privateers) all competing. Its nothing new.
 
And before Citroens and Fords there were Subarus and Mitsubishis. Tens of thousands of them on each rally.

What do they need 2 years for the development of the car? Very strange. The world is maybe completely differen then. Also 2 years driving as a factory team with no chance of winning. (if the kit cars are faster than the Toyota I will eat my hat).

But positive, we were going from 2.5 manus to 3 manus, progress at least?

We will be happy if kit cars will be faster than rally2 without kit...
