WRC could be a great place to develop all your electronic doodads (traction control and so on), but thats all banned for some reason ("cost cutting" but in the meantime mandating building 1million$ cars with plug in hybrid, lol)

The local rally in Estonia is this weekend (3-4th July). That rally is 6-7th August.

I would say it had TV coverage but I suspect what I am remembering is Top Gear Rally Report which would have been the RAC Rally and likely nothing else for the rest of the year.

No we did have event highlights on BBC (Grandstand) & ITV (World of Sport) of both the WRC and BRC. (Also plenty of Rallycross).
