Acropolis Rally location 2008

Just wondering if anyone knows whether the Acropolis Rally is remaining at the Equestrian Centre or returning to the Olympic Stadium in 2008.

Had a look on the Acropolis Rally website, but there's no details on there yet!

A new location for Service Park and SSS, in the region of Tatoi.
The route is almost the same as last year.

Hello,

does anyone have any experience with visiting the Acropolis Rally?
We have been visiting the Rally Sardinia and Rally Portugal till now and we have always slept in our car at the stages.
Is this possible in Greece, too? Are there a lot of spectators?

It is allways possible to sleep in your car, allthough it can be very hot in Greece at that time of the year. I was there many times and there are not that much spectators, so it is quite easy to follow the rally, allthough the roadmaps are not allways that good to find the stages.

Yes, if you haven't got a problem with heat, you can do that and probably avoid any traffic jams in the morning on the way to the stages!
The road maps of the rally are ok!

On Friday one place to go is for sure the "Schimatari" stage. Just some hundred meters after the start is a big big jump.

And about 1 km into the stage there is also a very nice section with fast and slow corners on the hillside. You can see the cars for about 1 km.
A very good spot.

Just walk into the stage or the second spot is also easy accessable from the main road going next to the stage north.

On Friday there are not many spectators out on the stages.
