Audi in the LMS

Audi have anounced a two car attack on the LMS this year, run by Joest, with the lead car being driven by McNish and Capello and the second car being driven by Mike Rockenfeller and Alex Premate. Peugeot are expected to anounce their continuation in the series and participation in the Sebring 12 Hours on Feb 15th. Audi still havnt confirmed that they will take part in the ALMS beyond Sebring. All from this weeks Autosport.

Exciting stuff. We'll have Audi and Peugeot competing together and not just at Le Mans. Sports car racing is enjoying a renaissance :up:

It would be a pity if Audi skip the ALMS series. They have been the nicest bunch of guys to talk to during the open pit fan sessions and the autograph sessions. I'd like to see them come back and take back the overall wins from the Penske Porsches!
