I don't know about you guys but it was nice to see 307 in tarmac set up again at Monte ? I think it's actually good looking car when under proper livery ? How many there are left in rallying, does anybody know?

The works team used 17 different chassis, it is now clear that atleast one more spare chassis has been used, and since two of them are destroyd, I'd say there are atleast 16 307 WRC chassis still used around Europe.

Never really liked the look of the car but it sure was nice to see it back. It's pity that the best years of the car were wasted with that stupid decision to use ****ty Pirellis instead of Michelin/BF Goodrich tyres...

In France there should be about 3 or 4 whales left... :mark:

Same number of whales in Italy :p :

One or two in Spain

It should be all...

Good point, i had forgot about that - George Tracey owns one. He bought it a couple of years ago and spent a fortune on conversion/ preparation but then bought a couple of other 'replacements' when the 307 didn't do too well!

A 307 is in Switzerland to G.M.A. team and a 3rd 307 could be arrived to Tamauto recently.

I know GMA owns this car: Ti 196032
But I don't know anything about the history of this 307. I would really like to know the chassis number or original reg-plate.

Also take a look at the Peugeot 307 WRC history site:

One other thing. I don't know if anyone got a same feeling but did Cuoq's 307 oversteer harmingly lot at the final SSS? Or was it just his style of driving?

It was nice to watch Cuoq, this guy can drive. And the 307 was faster than Suzukis and some Fords too in his hands. A lot of people were cheering for Cuoq more than Loeb actually.

The other 307 was in the hands of a gentleman driver, easily beated even by Broccoli ... not really fun to see (the livery was not that bad, except in the early morning when it appeared totally BLACK !) :p

Chassis 15 - 99 AKF 69 I think. Same chassis that Carlsson (WRC) and Andresen (Norwegian Championship) are going to use!
