Suzuki is still strugling on SX4WRC perfomance and is already developing at the same time an S2000 car.

One good car is better than two bad cars...

I refer to Nissan case in 1991 1992 with the sunny GTi-R.

To my knowledge WRC beyond 2010 will be based on S2000 and N-group car so I say it's not a bad idea by Suzuki to develope S2000 if that's going to be the basis for future WRC...

I partly agree, but this is 2008 not 2010.
I donīt think they have that much resources to work PROFESSIONALLY on both projects.

You either commit and work in WRC (if you choose so) in order not to make a fool of youself or you quit and start develop an S2000 and join IRC.

Once more...it seems that in order to continue in WRC 2010 and beyond a manufacturer needs to have either a S2000 or N-group car for it so I say it's about time to start develope their new car...2010 is not that far away...
