Entry list now available: http://www.galwayinternational.com/images/entries08.xls
Entry list not quite as impressive as last year but thats to be expected really, still anyone of the top 5 are in with a good shout for the win in my opinion and maybe one or two others. GrpN isn't bad at all either. Doubts still remain as to whether Donnelly will even start due to sponsorship problems. Nice to see McGarrity back though, and Hurson. Should be a good weekend looking forward to it already.

Not sure Donnelly will be running on the event. Doesn't bode well for the season.

Meeke hasn't entered unfortunately, would have been nice to see him doing a full ITC this year though.

Yeh the Fabia's sold to Craig, Irish Notes also say this.
Quote-Also making the trip to Bournemouth is Craig Bennett, who intends to contest the 6R4 part of the Championship. Craig reckons that he has his mechanical woes with his 6R4 behind him, and the gearbox is now sorted out. He was out testing the ex Eugene Donnelly Skoda Fabia WRC last week, and the car dropped a dog ring. The Fabia was due a rebuild anyway, and Craig intends to campaign it on the full NI Championship. Alan Carmichael is still on course for Bournemouth, where he will be driving a Kenny McKinstry Impreza WRC, a birthday treat for himself. He was driving his own Lancer at Kirkistown and was bidding for GpN honours but lost time when he damaged a wishbone passing a slower car. Alan eventually finished down the order in GpN which was convincingly won by John McGlaughlin.

I wouldn't be so sure. Money is tighter in Ireland this year and he didn't exactly do himself any favours last year did he?

Thats true, but i still think we il see him on one if not the two of them events. After all in my opinon he is a future Tarmac Champion and who knows with a bit of luck, World Rally Champion!!!!!
As for this years Irish Tarmac Championship, its hard to see some one at the minute who looks like they'il come away with the title at the end of the year. The Genie is a doubtful starter for Galway and this doesn't orgour well for the rest of the year....You never no, we could see an outsider, push for the title yet, someone who hasnt been there at the top before!
I see Michael Curran is also sitting out this season, will be missed, always a man who gives it all!!!

Donnelly has made a deal with Jack Sleator and will be driving Sleator's S12 in Galway and for the rest of the championship
