We probably all have a specific speed which we stick to on free flowing motorways (or freeways, or autoroutes or whatever you have). Taking into account lots of factors such as how fast you feel comfortable with and how much you are willing to push the legal limit.

Personally I find I always stick at around 75mph/120km/h (my speedo records this as 80mph), I must have done thousands of miles at this speed so I know exactly how the car will behave. It's also about as fast as you can go without any risk of being fined :p

Motorways: 130 Kph (80mph)

A Roads: 95 Kph (60mph)

Urban areas: 45 Kph. (28mph)

usually about 85mph on the motorway or Dual carriageway where the traffic allows, about 60-70mph on A roads, again if traffic allows, obviously less when roads are windy, lots of limit changes etc, but that doesn't really count as cruising, thats a constant adjustment

I usually go with the flow of traffic when I drive at rush hour. If it's not rush hour I tend to driver quicker when I want to get somewhere and slower on the way back. I usually stick between 70-80mph when I'm cruising. If I'm driving my other half's car which has cruise control I set set it at around 80mph.

80-85 on the motorway if possible. Occassionally I might cruise at just above 90mph, especially if there is very little traffic.

A roads are usually goverened by other drivers but if it's clear I generally travel at around 70mph.

If I'm anywhere near a police car I will most definately cruise at the same speed as them :D

I tend to stick to around 70-75MPH on the motorway as my car only has a 973CC engine it revs quite high in 5th so uses up quite a bit of fuel! Only reason I go abit faster on the Motorway is because the seats are bloody uncomfortable :(

I obviously do 70mph maximum at all times on the motorway. My mate however tends to drive around 80mph usually, 90ish if in a hurry. ;)

Motorways- 80mph on the clock which is around 75mph in my car.

A Roads - 65-70 on the clock which is between 61-66mph in real terms.

Urban - 35 on the clock, aprox 33mph in real terms.

So usually within the 10% most traffic police officers allow for.

Forgot to say A-Roads (with Nat speed limit) is 60-70mph whilst in Rural Areas I WILL stick to the 30 limits!

Depends what State I'm in. If I'm in NSW will sitt on 118 on the cruise control, but if I'm in Victoria I will sit on 113 due to their stupid rules that are different to the rest of Australia and illegal.

In Victoria you get booked if you are 3kmh over the legal limit even in a 110 zone. The Australian Design Rules (ADR's) stipulate that there can be a 10% error built in to speedometers.

Never more than 100km/h. ;) That's the absolute speed limit in Estonia. And you can only drive faster than that on some newer and smoother roads. Especially if you drive a ship called MB Sprinter that has some super soft suspension...
But usually it's 90(100 at summer)kmh on asphalt roads, 70kmh on gravel roads(if they're not full of holes...). At the moment, something like 80-90 on asphalt and 60-70 on gravel.(wintertime)

80 is usually good as you keep with the main flow of traffic and dont come up upon slower cars too fast.

And everyone else in the country knows it. Motorways in Victoria and especially down the Hume are just one big ribbon of stressed people.
Unlike Adelaide or Queensland generally where it would be nice if people actually did 60 occasionally but end up cruising about at 40 just because they're not in a rush.

Though I do find it curious when Vicwits come north of the border into NSW and make U-turns at lights... psst, it's illegal in NSW people.

Most of the time I m driving 140 kph on motorways. If driving slower only in bad weter like stong wind and heavy rain. There is limit 130 kph but they dont stop you if you are driving 10 kph more on motorway

70mph in the 306; if I'm driving this then chances are I'm on mileage allowance so I like to eek out as much for my own pocket as I can while still doing a decent speed lol. Plus I'm on work time so I'm usually taking the view that I don't want to die or get fined just getting to and from work ;)

In the Vectra it's higher <ahem>
