I doubt Pirelli make much effect on the cars livery's. Only two little marks on the front bumper I guess.

I do hope the Abu Dabi Ford livery turns out better than last year. It kind of looked cheap with the silver striping. I´ll be happy if they stick to the original blue and white colour scheme with one supporting colour added.

I don't expect anything different from Subaru, Citroën or Stobart. Perhaps on Gigi´s car only...

I'm sure that Ford and Abu Dhabi will be able to come up with a nice tacky looking livery. Ford just dont do good liverys. The 99 Focus was lovely and the early 03 stuff before Castrol/BP was nice but apart from that... Very messy.

Agree, but al those big sponsors need space, so I don't think there was much choise either. The Abu Dhabi logo is an improvement on the cheap silver thing last year, but it just doesn't go well with the rest (mostly because every headsponsor uses their own colour scheme).

At the moment, Suzuki is at least on the lead with livery's in my opinion.

They must show their sponsors and that them have money, so much that you see a lot of Ford Focus in the future. I miss seeing the Marlboro livery, though both Ferrari and Ducati are sponsored by them. Did like the blue Gauloises livery on the Citroens. Made a change from plain red.

The new Focus looks like a rainbow... if they chose only one main color, either Ford blue, BP green or Abu Dhabi red, It wood look much better. I wouldn`t call the current livery ugly, but its definitely not pretty either.

It's the castrol green who's messing it up, a norwegian driver in a subaru crashed the front of the car into rock to get rid of it (it was not on the car after that) :D

Thing is, this is really a TV made livery. Abu Dhabi is like 8 or 9 times on the car of whom 5 times on the front, which in my opinion is a bit ridiculous.

But they're paying big money, so not really something to make a whole fuss about.

Hi all. My first post. I have been trying to find photos of the new car all day and I got them here :D

The new Focus Livery looks good if you put your hand over the back of the car. The Abu Dhabi 'tail' coming from the rear of the car is horrible and an incredibly lazy and unimaginative piece of design. I can't remember the last time Ford had a good design. Probably McRae's Focus (although the Kresta one wasn't too bad).

I missed that Castrol logo on the side of the Focus. That -of 2004- had more style and was aggressive. Since 2006 is that logo on the side so... stiff. That is the word.
Any Photoshop freaks here want to make a 2008 Focus with the Castrol logo of 2004?

That in my opinion is the best looking WRC car of all time. (not the graphics but the shape of car).

I have attached a very rough photoshop of the new car. I have no problem with the colours and I like the front and rear but this gets rid of the stupid tail thing at the sides which is my only real problem with it.

I do think it could be made much more aggressive but you would need to start from scratch.

Marlboro has a very distinctive logo (like Martini, like 555), and I think threw out the years the 'bar code' became as much iconic as the original logo. It ain't really a beauty, but I think in this case Mitsubishi did a good compromise with the drivers names instead.

But this could probably go the same way for Gauloises. Though I'm not aware of them being a headsponsor of any team right now. The Blue was a nice change on the Citroëns, in that I agree.

I can understand why Stobart want to advertise the multimodal side of their business on the cars, but I think a front/back split would've been better, or one car in each colour. I actually like the blue colour more than the green.

duvals ca has a different sticker on the bonet than gigi and and mathews stobart sticker..then gigi is the lower number between the 2
