Okay guys-just a little fun before the 2008 Monte (only a month away!!!).

-Stages:Italy
-Single Stage Mode
-Practice all you want, but run the stages in order and only once using the same setup for every stage...
-DRY TARMAC TIRES ONLY (this will simulate icy conditions :D )

I had a go at a few stages this AM, and the car does slide a great deal-especially on hairpins.

I'll be doing this one on my playstation. My steering wheels works on that too but I'll be using the gamepad as my arms are knackered after half an hour and the steering isn't quick enough. :D

Very difficult conditions.My car's rear side was smashed after every stage.Road is very slippy and narrows so it is very hard to drive.

1:27:39 much better now
1:27:67 missed start
1:26:15 very good!
1:25:69 I cant believe my self! very fast
1:26:14 too much crashes

So track is very slipery, but its very fun driving on wet tarmac with dry tires :)

3 - 1:26.01 - happy with the pace, clean run
4 - 1:25.66 - even happier :D

Hell, wasn't that fun! Slip, slide and with 4WD! The Toyota handled the conditions well, only the times didn't justify the fun.

Just finished shakedown:
1. 1m22.23s lots of understeer, with many mistakes
2. 1m19.22s changed power ratio to -1 to get rid of understeer, werkt fine
3. 1m18.17s same setup, but less mistakes

setup used: dry tires, 0, +3, -1, -3, +3, +5

finished the rally! I did one test run on the rally to get comfortable with the conditions and slightly altered the setup to brakebalance -1 and brakepower +2. After a lot of encounters with trees and walls on the first couple of stages it went better and better. On tha actual rally I was pretty happy with my driving. Besides a couple of big wall crashes and a lot of tapping trees I didn't make any big mistakes. I was surprised by the level of grip in these ridiculous conditions.

M. Haenen still in a commanding lead with Juha just 5 seconds adrift on this stage. Tannat a bit further back in 3rd. Still scrapping amongst the Fords and Subaru although Dumb is a bit off the pace for this stage. Rat in the Toyota maintaining a solid advantage over the Skoda of Frozzy...

The final forasaken and challenging stage of Rieti awaited the competitors to complete the 2008 pre season test..

M. Haenen makes it 6 for 6 with yet another stage victory. Juha finishes the stage over 2.5 seconds quicker than Tannat. This stage sorts out the 4th through 7th battle: Drak Archon 6 seconds faster than the Subaru of Steve0302 followed by the Ford's of Exhausted and Dumb. Rat and Frozzy trail at the finish.

I'll apologize in advance as these are approximations, but I think you'll see the time difference between positions is sufficent to ensure accuracy.

Marcel Haenen returns to Citroen with a maiden win :up: Teammates Juha and Tannat finish 2nd and 3rd in a good run for the Suzuki. DarkArchon is the highest placed Ford in 4th beating Exhausted home by roughly 6 seconds. 6th is the Subaru of steve0302 approximately 10 seconds further adrift. Dumb brings the final Ford home another 6 seconds behind the Subaru driver. Rat enjoys a good run to 8th followed by Frozzy's debut in the Skoda in 9th.

I believe wet tarmac tyres must be used in Sweden for the Monte, but for the Italy stages are free (either dry or wet tarmac allowed)
