Good News = Michael Waltrip's crash rate was down in 2007 from the year before ...
Bad News = Michael Waltrip failed to make 22 of the 36 races in 2007. :eek:

I did a little more research on my own. It seems there were only 5.6 cautions per race in 1999.

Ah, I've found 2000 had 7.1 cautions per race. Now we know where it all started to go wrong.
