any news on new F1 game

was just wondering if anyone had any news on a possible new f1 game?

No news yet, but if there is a new one coming (Presumbly 2008).

Hopefully new features like, safety cars, tyre barriers tumbling down when hit, bigger crashes (like 2001, 2003), maybe even third drivers involved and season mode where any driver goes to any team (eg. Massa goes to Toyota and Alonso goes Force India).

I think Sony won't be producing one anymore, the license is up for grabs. I don't know if there will be a 2008 version. That's all I have heard.

Hopefully whoever will get the license will develop the game for PC too. I'm still wasting my free time with F1 Challenge 99-02. I think it's a great game even now, so I'm curious what EA Sports would do if they get the license.
