There seems to be possibility any other additional teams participated in the 2008 season, specially for 125 and 250 cc classes.

Strongly rumored that there will be three south east asian riders riding 250 cc, besides the existing Ratthapark, Doni Tata Pradita will no longer be only wildcard but officially rides the full season. At least according to three manufacturer i.e Yamaha, Aprilia and KTM Pradita has smoother control when passing out the turns than Ratthapark. If this is true, Yamaha wouldn't be likely to hand him over other bikes where he spent the whole career with Yamaha. Currently this rumor is in the phase of finding the proper sponsor that the state owned oil Pertamina seems to back them up. Yamaha Indonesia would stand on their own flag.

He might not be a top rider, but we are happy seeing the more diversified participant on the grid.

No Kiefer in 250s? I feel for Baldolini and Sandi being stuck with Matteoni racing.. They've condemned themselves to a year of mediocrity...

Good to see Bradley Smith in a good team for the coming season - let's hope that team have got rid of the reliability problems for good!
