I dont think it was bad luck at all!! Today he broke the outright lap record at Sepang, quicker than Rossi's pole record aboard a 990cc, something like a 2 minute flat lap... Wow..

This is actually the second cobra fatality in MotoGP - Gino Borsoi hit one in 1998 at Johor on his 125.
